The Pro Cheer League isn’t just returning for Season Two — it’s evolving.

After a groundbreaking inaugural season that introduced professional cheer to a national audience, the PCL is entering its next chapter with major coaching additions across the league.

From established teams making leadership changes to expansion teams building their identity from day one, the road to Season Two is already raising the level of competition.

Golden State Grit, one of the league’s original teams, will enter the new season under fresh leadership with Eddie Rios and Miking Lee stepping in as Head Coaches. For Grit, the move signals more than a coaching change — it marks the beginning of a new era for a team already known for setting the tone during the league’s inaugural run.

At the same time, two expansion franchises are preparing to make their league debut.

Houston Hustle enters the PCL with Casey Jo Knight and Michael Knight leading the team. Known throughout the industry for building powerhouse teams and producing champions over the last two decades, the Knights bring credibility, experience and intensity to one of the league’s newest markets.

Meanwhile, Kentucky Crush adds one of the sport’s most respected names with Jomo Thomas as the coach. Thomas helped shape the legacy of Kentucky cheerleading through decades of collegiate success and national championships, making him a natural fit to lead PCL’s Kentucky team.

The additions reflect the continued growth of the Pro Cheer League as the league expands its reach, deepens competition and builds a long-term future for professional cheer athletes.
