No signs of an offseason. The whole day carried the feeling of athletes that had been preparing for this moment long before tryout day arrived.

If there was one takeaway from the afternoon, it's that Miami Metal believes its standard hasn't changed and neither has its expectation to compete at the highest level.

Season Two Starts Here

Before athletes took the floor, Program Development Coordinator Lark Wood introduced the new Pro Cheer League Season Two format He walked athletes through the updated match structure, the strategy behind this year's competition, and the league's brand-new games. Athletes had the opportunity to ask questions and get a firsthand look at what's ahead before putting their own skills on display.

Miami's tryout featured a healthy mix of returning athletes and fresh faces. The returning athletes brought the confidence and chemistry that made Miami Metal one of the league's defining teams, while newcomers introduced skills and versatility we haven't seen at previous Pro Cheer League tryouts this year. Together, they elevated the room from the very beginning.

What stood out wasn't just the talent—it was how naturally everything came together. Difficult skills looked routine. Athletes challenged one another while keeping the atmosphere loose and competitive. The confidence throughout the gym was contagious.

Unfinished Business

This group carried itself with the belief that there is a lot to accomplish in Season Two. The confidence was evident throughout tryouts, and so was the expectation. These athletes understand what it means to represent Miami Metal, and they met that standard from the opening warm-up to the final evaluation.

When the Season Two roster is announced, don't expect a team that's satisfied with where it's been. Expect one that's determined to remind everyone why Miami Metal remains one of the teams to beat.
