Dallas Drive Rallies to Capture the 2026 Pro Cheer League Season Title
After a first half stumble, Dallas completes an amazing comeback to become the league’s first champion.
NASHVILLE, TN – March 29, 2026 – The inaugural Pro Cheer League season wrapped in dramatic fashion as the Dallas Drive surged past the Miami Metal to claim the first-ever championship title.
After three matches, Miami appeared firmly in control. But a two-point swing following a rules review opened the door for Dallas, who stormed back with two clutch wins in the final regular season match and championship showdown.
The race for third place was just as intense, with Golden State edging Atlanta in the final quarter to secure their podium finish.
Championship Recap
With all championship rounds worth double points and only a two-point gap entering the match, the title was up for grabs.
Dallas started strong, winning the first quarter, but stumbled in the second—falling six points behind after finishing last in both endurance events.
Facing elimination, Dallas delivered under pressure:
- Won back-to-back All Girl Big Trick matchups
- Narrowed the gap to just two points entering the final quarter
- Secured a clutch win in Highest Tumbler
That set the stage for a winner-take-all final event: Bullseye.
With the arena on its feet, Dallas athletes Asa Ware, Caleb Aich, and Alondra Flores each scored 9/10—tying the highest team total of the season and clinching the championship via tiebreaker.
Final Bullseye Score: Dallas 27 – Miami 24
Flores’ final pass secured not only the title but a combined $40,000 prize for the team.
“Dallas showed the spirit of a champion, fighting their way back and never letting up when it mattered most,” said Commissioner John Newby.
